Mental Health ATHMA SHAKTI VIDYALAYA SOCIETY, Karnataka, Bangalore
We are a residential therapeutic community set up in 1979 by Fr. Hank Nunn S.J. and Jacqui Lee Schiff. We work with persons suffering from various psychiatric diagnoses and a wide age group of 10-55 years. Our criteria for intake are - motivation to change, awareness of problems, duration of illness.

Addictions Sahara House
"Sahara has 36 projects most of which address substance use and HIV/AIDS. Sahara is run almost entirely by former substance users and PLHA. Sahara runs services for men, women, children and the transgender community."

We do take in children with various problems including childhood emotional disorders, autistic spectrum disorders and learning disabilities, the latter two at our day care centre
