Customising Wimpy MP3 (12 Steps to Heaven Approach)

Start by going to Wimpy customise site. Right click on link to open in new window

Enter http://www.pettarchiv.org.uk/radiotc/wimpy/wimpy.php (copy shortcut from here and paste)

Click on test, if example plays then you have got it right

Make sure Version 5 is selected and press continue.

On new page test first two options (1&2) which should be correct.

Option 3 choose skin from wimpy/skins directory and set as http://www.pettarchiv.org.uk/radiotc/wimpy/skins/skin_default.xml or other legitimate skin name.

The next few items can be left as defaults

Item 22 we do not yet have a graphic leave as default

Item 25 Fill in RadioTC

Item 28 Here we must tick the box first and enter details to embed the file/s and directories we want because we have wimpy in a separate folder from mp3 files, you do it as the tool advises. So for example http://www.pettarchiv.org.uk/radiotc/p002/sw1.mp3 will play the SW file. HAVE YOU TICKED THE BOX.

Then hit the code button. Here it is important to name the file appropriate to the broadcast/programme e.g.sw.html. Save to a directory of your choice, opend folder/directory and double click on file, it should work as expected, if not go back and correct. If it does continue.

Then upload the file to the appropriate directory e.g. http://www.pettarchiv.org.uk/radiotc/P002/sw.html
