Publicity and Launch

Advance Praise for RadioTC International

"As chair of the ATC I warmly welcome this proposal. It outlines a very real way of creating a community of communities in our heads/minds. One of the main challanges in developing the ATC is to find ways to harness all the energy from our work in our individual TCs into something that we can recognise as 'corporately' ATCish."

- Kevin Healy

Approaching ATC member communities

I would like to suggest that ATC writes to each member community telling them about RadioTC International, and encouraging their participation, both as providers of material, and listeners. Craigtfees 21:10, 7 March 2006 (GMT)

TC-OF, EFTC, and other email lists

I think we need to circulate the list soon, both to announce the coming station, and also to tout for material. News in particular. When? And in what terms? And TC-OF first, then EFTC, or both at same time?

Would like to announce it to ISPS list at some point.

Would like to approach Soteria Network, which should have motivation to create programmes Craigtfees 21:10, 7 March 2006 (GMT)

The obvious hook for publicity would be the "launch" date. I suggested March 19. Can we publicise the launch on that basis? Craigtfees 21:44, 7 March 2006 (GMT)

The signs are that the Newsletter is on the road to production. We should put together an article on RadioTC (and on TC-OF, again)Craigtfees 21:44, 7 March 2006 (GMT)

Advisory Group

Suggest we set up a RadioTC Advisory Group; a kind of Board. Craigtfees 21:10, 7 March 2006 (GMT)

Channel 4: Arts, Books and Music

Would like to invite Chris Nicholson to take on a role vis a vis Channel 5 - Special Editor, perhaps. Literature was his specialist area when working on the Joint Newsletter, and he could perhaps put together a programme involving children's poetry.
